Dr. Jason Snibbe is thrilled to have been invited by Dr. Bryant Marchant to present grand rounds on Hip Arthroscopy at Madigan Army Medical Center. The medical center is located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord just outside Tacoma, Washington. It is one of the largest military hospitals on the West Coast of the United States.

The hospital was named in honor of Colonel Patrick S. Madigan, an assistant to the U.S. Army Surgeon General from 1940 to 1943 who was also known as the “father of Army neuropsychiatry.” The hospital today is a 205-bed Joint Commission-accredited facility. Madigan Army Medical Center is one of three designated trauma centers in United States Army Medical Department (AMEDD).

Dr. Snibbe’s grand rounds will include discussion of hip arthroscopy surgery and postoperative care, as well as other sports-related hip injuries.
